Enabling the area based delivery of low carbon heat
ALPHA
Clean heat neighbourhoods
What if switching to low-carbon heating was as simple as signing up to a scheme focused on your neighbourhood? Instead of each household doing their own research, figuring out the right technology, and finding the right installer, what if this was all sorted out by the people running a local scheme?
We think that the UK should implement a more coordinated strategy to create clean heat neighbourhoods, facilitating the transition of multiple households within a specific geographic area - be it a street, neighbourhood, or larger region - to low-carbon heating systems.
